LOG4SHELLJ VULNERABILITY

XStudio is not impacted

XStudio does not use Log4j so we are not directly impacted by the Log4shell vulnerability.

We analyzed our dependencies libraries and all is clear.
Tests with the "log4shell huntress" diagnostic tool did not reveal any problems either.

NEW FEATURES

Dynamic Filtering

XStudio.web now also allows you to apply some dynamic filtering to all the trees.

You can for instance filter trees based on the properties of the items i.e. status, priority, severity, coverage%, risk etc.

This is the perfect way to hide closed or approved items for instance to focus on the items that require more your attention.

To do that nothing is simpler, just click on the filter button in the header of the tree, add as many rules as you want and apply.

The tree updates instantly and automatically.

Cerberus Testing integration

Our catalog of launchers is now including a new entry: Cerberus Testing.
Cerberus is a low-code, open-source and scalable test automation solution.
Do not hesitate to checking Cerberus website for more details about what they do.

And that's not it... but I'll let you update your server (or ask us to update your cloud instance - it's free!) to discover the rest ;)

RELEASE PLANNING

Faster and more frequently

We've changed our release planning process to release much faster and more frequently than before.
We expect to deliver one new stable version every 2 month.

This will start with version 7

UNDERCOVER

XQual Cloud Management

Internally, we've also implemented and deployed this month our new web Cloud Management tool.

This is what we use everyday now here at XQual to manage and monitor all our/your SaaS instances (incl. automated email notifications when licenses are expiring, automated creation of new servers, renew/update licenses, mass update and/or upgrade, stop, start, termination, renew SSL certificates, mass custom commands etc.):
